I would recommend you go with the bigger size storage card with more games. You can't go wrong with that.

shipping was fast, very fast, and I love the price. I may buy one for my children later on.

This is my first retro handheld device, and I think it's a great entry into the world of portable retro gaming. The selection of games is pretty good, and navigation with the stock firmware is pretty straightforward. The analog sticks work well enough, but if you're intending to play N64 or higher games, a more powerful device might be a better fit. For me, I was after NES, SNES, PS1 and arcade games, so this seemed like the right choice. So far, so good! Shipping was quick for Anbernicc.com too, I live in MB, Canada and received the unit 2 weeks after ordering it.

Shipping very fast, product was defective from the start(L pad did not work). Seller provided a video of how I might fix it but did not provide full instructions on how to open it. Also in my opinion it’s absurd that at this price a proper QC was not performed. So the seller left me to fix his product and was hesitating when I said that I want to return it and want my money back. I found instructions on the web for a similar product on how to open it and managed to get the L pad working. But would not recommend if you have an issue, opening any device if it’s in warranty. Just return it to them and ask them to upgrade their QC!

It arrived a day earlier than expected. The device feels great in the hands and it has a nice 4 inch screen. It comes with a charging cable and an instruction booklet. The face buttons and the d-pad feel great, the shoulder buttons are a bit clickier than I would like but they're positioned well. It comes with some games preloaded but if you're looking for any first-party Nintendo games you'll have to add them yourself, which is easy enough. Overall I'm really happy with it so far!

I received a rg 40xx h with a non-working left bumper and reached out to Anbernic's customer service. Long story short, they went above and beyond working with me and their technicians to narrow down the root cause (a small rectangle of foam wrapped in a silver mesh sticking out past the pcb, undeath the battery. It can be trimmed or removed entirely). Thanks to their quick response and a bit of tinkering, I was up and running without having to deal with an RMA. The piece of foam is pictured so those with this issue know what to look for.
